Help: front brake pad suggestions
Going to a 17x5 Weld front set-up and thinking of replacing the front brake pads instead of cutting off the roller skates. Any suggestions on which pads to run?
Thanks.

I'm on my second set of Autozone Gold series as of yesterday. 107K miles on my car. 65K on the first set.

I like the Hawk HPS pads, they don't have the initial bite that the stock pads have, but they don't fade as much. I don't know how you intend on driving your car, so I really can't recommend anything other than what I have experience with.

Thanks, cars a daily with 2-3 trips to the drag strip a month. I drive pretty aggressive though. Just want to eliminate the roller skates. Don't mind squeaking or brake dust.

I just did a set of Duralast? pads from Autozone on my car last weekend. So far they are good.

I am running the EBC "Red Stuff" pads right now. They are a substantial improvement over the original pad. I haven't had them long enough to get an indication of wear but the really lock down the heavy camaro quick. Impressive so far.
