Jekyll and Hyde
It took 14 long weeks between the time I handed over my deposit and the arrival of my ZL 1 (2014, M6, Summit White)! Maybe some other Camaro owners have had a similar experience but now I seem to have a split personality. On weekdays, I feel like Dr. Henry Jekyll. I drive my conservative Toyota RAV 4 (A5, V6, 270hp) to the University and teach my classes. On weekends however, I turn into Mr. Edward Hyde and cruise the local highways in my Camaro chasing Mustangs. What fun!!

Very nice! Summit White is definitely growing on me.
I waited about 18 weeks for mine, and it was agonizing! Especially knowing it was built and sitting in a lot on QC hold! I also feel the same way, and when I am driving our Saturn Vue to work everyday, I am wishing I was in my ZL1! |

14 weeks.....you are patient (those guys would be coughing up my deposit at that point haha). Very nice.
As far as split personalities between cars......you'll get used to it!

I feel the same way. I used to have a 300c and a Z06. not like my Z06 would not smash my z06 but I was just mr hyde and mr hyde with those cars as the 300C was still powerful.
Now that I have my POS dart comuter and my Zl1 I have a hard time being mr hyde with 160hp ha ha. Although I do get in a grudmatch with the ocational diesel pickup or little VW turd ha ha.

Waited exactly 222 days for my 2012...some people got bumped to the following model year and waited even longer....14 weeks is a cakewalk.
Congrats, like the color

My daily driver the past 10 years has been a 04 GTO M6. Most people have no idea what it is so I just blend in with traffic until I need to bust out. The ZL1 feels wider inside and smoother riding with gobs more power. It will be my nice weather car and the GTO remains my DD

A 4th gen B4C is my DD, it blends in with the V6 Camaros until you hear the exhaust note, then those who realize still think its the city PD.

Like I've written on this board many times, the ZL1 itself has the Jekyll and Hyde factor. It can be either depending on your mood and the conditions.
Congrats.
