ZL1 with Pinstripes

Small amount of pinstripes on my ZL1. Two thin stripes (sliver & gray) with flourishes on the front clip and truck lid.

Not what I was expecting. I have been playing around with doing a red 1/4" pinstripe about a 1/4" outside the hood insert and black stripe. I had bought some at AutoZone and put it on myself just to see what it would look like. I thought it looked pretty good and it made the red stand out on the emblems.

The work is top notch,I think it would look better if there was nothing on the front, and rear,it looks a little too busy,..But as long as your happy that is all that should matter, but like i said the work its self it well done..I love that color,And the yards with no grass..I never had to cut the grass while i lived in Tucson..went to bear creak high school for 2 yrs...got to love AZ in the 80's lol

As long as you're happy and like it. It also think it's too busy. It works a lot better on Fire Engines but not 580HP Camaro ZL1's.

Postscript, I think it's the gold chevron that conflicts with the silver grey combo, just food for thought? Perhaps if you had darker chevron's front and rear.

Subtle and tasteful.

Not too bad along the sides. Not my cup of tea either. It is unique though.

I respect making it your own!

Its not for me. Looks kinda like a tramp stamp on the trunk. In the 80's I never understood pinstripes when my buddy's had them painted on with real paint! In 2014, I still don't get it. If you like it, rock it!

There is nothing wrong with that! It is different and I think it is ok. You have made yours look different and that is what you wanted and it looks great. Do not let anybody change your mind about it and it is not to "busy" for me.
