The more free-flowing the exhaust is the more likely you are to hear the popping. So, replacing the restrictive factory cats with high-flow cats (or removing the completely, although this is not always street-legal) as well as using high-flow mufflers (or, again, no mufflers) will allow you to hear the pops better.

Apart from this, you can also get the engine tuned to create pops by having the fuel injectors continue to inject for a time after the throttle closes, although this is purely for sound and can actually reduce performance.

Not really, if you do a cat delete with straight pipes it sounds like shit, especially without an x pipe, but if you go catless with no resonators and have decent mufflers like the mrt v1 and the xpipe you’ll be just fine, v6’s doesn’t always have to sound like a lawnmower but i have heard some that sound just like honda civics and it really does make me upset to see such a car producing those terrifying noises, be smart about it, and it’ll sound good

Stock, the V6 sounds like a little Ferrari. I like it. Keep the old sounding tractor noises for the V8's.
