That paint scheme looks terrible. The design of the rest of the truck is fine. But side stripes with matching wheels? No.

Yeah I get that...its still a shame the volume model (the LT) has to be that damn ugly, but earlier I was thinking they were ALL that ugly. At least the LTZ and High Country are different....and hopefully there's options for the LT.

Has anyone seen a real pic of the Sierra HD yet? I'm hoping they kept the ugly stick away from it.

Just spy photos, but it's looking better than Silverado.

The only thing that I didn't like about the old design was the squarish wheel wells and now they fixed that and made this the ugliest truck made today, GM is craping the bed Ford and Ram are going to sell so better than what Chevy is offering.

That happens to be a 1970’s Big-10 re-creation. So much for GM people having any idea about heritage.

No wonder Chevy has the absolute worst looking 2019 line up of any brand.

Doesn't mean it's not ugly

So what? Doesn't mean it looks good.

I'm tired of this obsession with retro, it's gotten really old really fast and really played out. From Silverados to Camaros.

Retro or not, nothing wrong with a two-tone truck paint job. Lose those white wheels and it looks much better...

You're half right. I didn't know what it was, until you made a thread about that dealer-made 'special edition' a while ago. But thanks for letting me know that in order to be a GM person, you had to like every single thing they've previously done -even if it was years before you were born (hating on new stuff is perfectly fine though).

Sarcasm aside, I really don't understand what knowing its origin has to do with whether or not it looks good. If anything, not having any nostalgia whatsoever for the Big 10s would make my opinion that much more objective. Painted wheels (aside from silver/grey/black) look extremely tacky to me. Same thing with big body graphics.

Tacking on retro things to a modern design pretty much never looks right to my eye. And I don't care for the opposite of that either: modernizing old cars by slapping on some big new wheels with low profile tires and sticking an iPad in the dash.
