This is the one that I did on my car. Worth a look in my opinion.

There’s actually 3 different wiring related bulletins for these cars. I’ll try to find them.
We’ve inspected that harness and it doesn’t look worn through but perhaps I will undo some of the wrap and inspect further.

I had a noticeable gouge in my insulation in that area, though I don’t have any issues with the car. If you don’t have any hard contact/gouging, then it’s probably fine. I have seen wires broken or damaged under insulation though. So I’d take a closer look.

Btw...I work next to a friend of yours. Small world.

Mine doesn’t have the added abbrasion sleeve but there is definitely a notch in the tape. The car is at GM right now for an unrelated issue so I will have them inspect it.

They are! Service manager said “you didn’t mod the differential so the way I see it, the warranty is in tact”

GM Called me and said they peeled back the insulation on the recalled harness and some of my wires were damaged under the sleeve. Hope this fixes me issue

Thats great news! Now we know in case this happens to anyone else.

Nothing sucks like hard to diagnose problems on a new car.

With my luck I won’t believe it’s fixed until I see it. But it does explain the weirdness

Here are 2 more that you might have addressed while they have your car.

Awesome. I haven’t looked at a wiring diagram to figure out what exactly is in that harness, but I’m pretty confident this will fix your issue.
