I just did the same thing, I had a '16 STi and now have an '18 1SS 1LE in NFG.

I picked mine up on Sep. 10th, I have about 1150 miles on it so far. I was lucky enough to buy the car as it was on it's way to the dealer so it had no miles on it from test drives or anything when I got it. I wasn't planning on buying an '18 but I like the looks better and I got a really good price.

So far, I applied a ton of PPF, ZL1 Add-Ons rock guards, tint, floor mats/trunk liner and the leather lined knee pads for the interior. I'd do PPF and rock guards asap.

I can't believe how much better it is vs the STi. Now, the STi with it's 3 LSDs is amazing on dirt and snow, but it's very compromised everywhere else... The AWD system is a double edged sword. It also doesn't have the ability to monitor oil temp/pressure and has inadequate cooling, which is a dangerous combination. IMO it's not suitable for track use w/o many mods. It's traction and stability systems are also not even close to the Camaro.

I also have Michelin PA4 performance snows in 265/40/19, I think it'll be a lot of fun to drive in the snow, just not as quickly vs the Subie...

Did the same thing with mine. It was nice getting one fresh off the truck.

When the '16 Camaros first came out, I was at the dealer having an oil change in my '13 Corvette 427 convertible, and the dealership's owner insisted that I drive the new SS that had just been dropped off. Until I drove it, I had little interest in the new Camaros. That immediately changed after a 20 minute drive!! A year later, I bought my '17 2SS coupe which is black with the red interior and a 6 speed. The Vette now just sits in the garage, and only gets occasional use. This Camaro gets LOTS of looks- All good ones! Enjoy your new ride!

Are the gear ratios on the 1LE the same as the SS manuals? Just wondering how tall the gearing is and if it's ideal for the streets? Or do you need like a tons of road to let these things rev out?

The driver seat and the steering wheel also require special break-in procedures, for best longevity and aroma they must be smoked externally from the rear via the driver side window. I can help with that

You need road. Top of 2nd is mid 70's, top of 3rd is about 105-110.
