Vengeance was also somewhat built with a water to air intercooler, so they had cooling advantages. We are running the race air to air set up. They pulled out 1087 on race gas. They also had head work, a sick ass ice tank set up and a few more mods than I do. I'll show you the RPM (excuse me, Redline Motorsports) video that had my goals set. On 93 and meth they hit 1157 which outdid our 1044. But, they were on a built block. So, we are on the right track. We easily gonna crack 1200 once the bottom is done on boost only. I'm thinking more like 1250 as we'll have good air at that time.

Anyway, I saw it in person last night and the only way to describe the noise is ear splitting.. That coming from a guy who doesnt wear ear plugs at F1 (V10 days), Monster Jam (in an Ice Hockey arena) or 10ft from a Jet Car.. This thing is LOUD. PS.. Make sure you have Matt send off the TCM so he can tune it. Upping the rev limiter and changing the shift points will get you close to that 1200hp mark, even in these temps. Your boost/power just keep climbing with that PC/FMIC setup.

What Ricco said. Cam and low side. Not sure if meth is considered part of fueling, but I am running a dual nozzle, 20 gallon nozzle which is honestly double what I had before as I was running 15 gallon nozzles. This thing drinks the meth. haha

You good man. Yea, unfortunately I learned the hard way. The last run, I did have on ear sets to get that last video. We are deft doing the TCM when the motor is out.

WoW... that Redline video is sweet and a 1LE too. ***I'm in trouble ***
You need to put something together of the entire build. |

I'd have to hire someone to do the production and I'm not that serious about it. I'll let my dyno #'s do the talking about the build. From last night, Sorian wants me to attend some no prep event to see what we can do, so I got Boyd Bumberra as my driver. Of course, I have no idea when this is so. I'm not even sure I can even pass tech on these kind of events. So, who knows. We still waiting on cooler weather to rent out Royal Purple so we can have a small group go down and get dialed in. If we can't hit 9.1 at least, I'd be disappointed. By then, my motor will be built so. I'll be all in at that point.

Agreed. That Redline 1LE is sick. That was basically my water mark. Their numbers was what I was chasing. I knew I'd smack Hennessey around, which is kind of easy to do. Sorry John, love your shit dude, but I smoked your #'s big time. haha. I still love ya.

Any reason you didn't go A2W rather than A2A if you were concerned about IAT's? I know the meth helps quite a bit but it can only do so much.
Just curious to know. That aside, fantastic results man! |

It wasn't my call. I just let Sorian pick the blower set up. I'm not sure there are advantages between either one. Who knows. I guess in a way, A2A I have more control over due to Meth, but A2W, I'd constantly have to have ice in the tank to keep the temps down. I don't have the data log, but I did watch it. On all my pulls, I only care about one temp and that's the manifold temps. On my old set up, we were hitting over 190 therefore killing any chance I had of holding a run. Now, Ricco was there. On a 160 mph pull, which is what Matt got up to, manifold temps dropped from the hit from 130 to 110. You would think the mani temps would rise on a hit, but they dropped so. And that was with the IAT's starting at 110 going up to around 150 on the hit. So, the meth was working. Haha, I guess that's why we ran that set up. And it was 95 degrees in the dyno room yesterday so. Can't wait to get those manifold temps down into the 90',s 80's. Car is really gonna move out.

I know this gray M6 car very well now that he posted that screenshot with Jeremy Woodrufs name on it. (Good guy and good build) I actually have registered credits for that one on my HP Tuners when we had to flash the PF tune in San Antonio so the car would run on the track. As far as the White A10... Cody took delivery of this one just a few weeks after my A10. The Sorian tune was a Long Time ago, there have been mods since and the tune on it now is Jason Haynes. Sorry Scott... I'll clean up the thread, but had to put out the true story first. Guys full of shit and doesn't know what he's talking about. |
