Wow I suppose you have an M6?? If not you are doing it wrong... you gotta heat up your tires for a few seconds wheter its stock tires or drag radials, and then you gotta prepare engine at 1000-1500 rpm and floor it at the end of the 3rd yellow light.

If its a manual, I can't help you... I had an M6 SS before and the best 60 ft I could get was 2.0, they are hard to launch.

Thanks for the update! Just hit the button and ordered the black chrome race stars and the M/T tires you have! I will be at the track at super chevy on August 18th, we shall see what tires, CAI and a ported TB does! It race 11.34 at 123 bone stock in 2550 DA. Hoping to be in the 10's!

I’d say my tires are heated and that’s where I leave at is 1500 RPM

You want to get to 22psi on those tires if they hook. I start at 18 psi and keep increasing 1 psi at a time till i loose traction then go back down 1 psi to where it hooked. If I make it to 22 psi and it sticks...great.

If you call Mickey Thompson they’d tell you the same thing

Alright I'll try that!! Because I was not slipping at all even tough I'm flooring it right after 3rd light... They hook 100% right away. I'll try higher rpm too

I'm surprised you guys are having such good luck with the et streets. I ran those for about a month and they were one of the worst tires I have ever had. I was faster on stock tires. I now have the r888r and they are awesome.

My stock times were consistent 11.40 at 126.xx in Fayetteville NC Bone Stock no mods. Now that Pray Performance hooked me up with a mild stage 2 blower Cam and upgraded the Pulley and ported TB I cant run street tires at the track it’s rediculas burn out for an 1/8 then hook and run at 12.004 at 130.43. With all,the dang rain I’m going to get dialed in for 9.99 or better this fall on DRs on my ZO6 wheels with Nittos. Consistent 7.00x 1/8 mile times on Hot Hot NC killer hot temps... October I’ll see again but want 9.99 and I’m done and happy.... maybe port and polish the heads next... We will see...
