I'll try to get around to that eventually. Probably when they wrap the downpipe i'll take things off and measure the temps on the way to the shop have them do the DP and put shit back on at home and see what the differences are. Having the Injen Open CAI is probably being helped by some of this heat mitigation though.

Yeah the smoke is a bit alarming. If you can mentally get over the fact that it is normal, you should be fine. Don't know if I'll be able to relax enough to keep mine on.

Anyway you could take note of what tables are opened up in the TCM for modification? I think your the first to do this on the 8l45, that I can remember anyway. Don't recall any feedback at all...

Jason@JacFab has done it i'll work with my tuner on it i'm not getting it tuned right away scheduling is a bitch this time of year. Will happen before mid-may though.

Well that was easier then expected got the TCM out it's mounted on the frame behind the wheel liner near passenger side headlight. Took 2 minutes after the wheel came off to get it out. It's currently in-transit waiting to be unlocked this Monday or Tuesday.

Update: Delivery Confirmed at 10:55AM Monday /4/23/2018

Yes TCM Tuning was more or less successful. I mostly had it done to zero out the slip% tables be ause i was experiencing intermittent transmission shudder haven't had it since. Car feels much better and much more fun to drive. Slapping some DRs on this sunday to try and get into the 12s at the local dragway
