'22 Order Allocation
I recently put an order in for a '22 2SS 1LE at Moran Chevy for no other reason than it was the first dealer i looked at relatively close to me. I've had no issues or complaints about my experience so far but my only worry is that it may take awhile for this dealer to get an allocation for my order. I'm aware that folks on this forum are big fans of James Martin Chevy and that makes me wonder if they would be able to get an earlier allocation if I were to cancel my current order and instead place it through them. Just looking to get any thoughts on if this is really worth my time or if I should just stay on my current path.
Thanks! |

You better off staying where you at and just wait it out. If you switch you may be further in line than you already are.

You would really need to know how many other orders that dealer has ahead of yours then the allocations. Some one told me yesterday when I placed mine that for the month(?) of August they got 2 allocations, my order is #28 for them. So there's more to getting an allocation than just getting one.

Moran is going to get lots of allocation but also lots of orders. They're a top 5 Chevrolet dealership in the country most months. The above poster is spot on. People in line is more important than allocation.
