Lock Pillar Trim Removal and Replacement

Does anyone know how to get the seatbelt off the lock pillar trim? I purchased a new lock pillar piece but the seat belt threads through it and I don't know how to safely remove it to put the new piece on. It's the plastic piece by the headliner that has a hole where the seatbelt goes through. I'm stuck right now so any help would be great.

If I remove this torx, will I set a airbag off or something? I'm trying to do this without removing the battery terminal since I'm just replacing a plastic pillar trim piece.

I did the same repair on mine, people with rings scratched it all up. Yes, remove that bolt and you will be able to pull the end through. Watch the twist on the belt when you put back together
