ProClip adds a new phone mount to their Camaro6 lineup

ProClip added a second Camaro6 phone holder as an option from the first one, the center console clip-on.

Link here

Not sure if it also needs that 2nd piece that actually cradles your phone.

Anyone have it?

I've had ProClips on my last five vehicles. Nothing compares because they are vehicle specific. I'm using the Console Mount on my SS Vert and love it but I might have bought the dash mount if it had been available.

After looking at prices, I will pass. Just keep mine in the cup holder. Damn paying 35 plus for a holder AND 30 for the mount. And looks like it wouldn't work unless I change my case. I am sure people will buy them but I'd rather spend my money on something more worth while.

The Pro Clip works great, you need a phone case that is easy to slip in and out of because the mount slides in just right.
For what you pay for these new smartphones it is worth holding it tight when you might have to drive in fun mode.

I've used bean bag mounts, suction cup mounts and mounts that clip to the vent. None of them come even close to the ProClip. Yep, they are a little pricey but nothing compares.

Looks great if you don't need to plug your phone into the USB ports or use CarPlay. I can't believe Chevy put those in the absolute worst place available in the Gen6 (besides under the hood I guess). I leave mine in the cup holder so I don't have cords all over the place.

I'm good with my Spigen Kuel Stealth Mount. For $12.

My center console proclip wont stay put it constantly comes unlatched from under the center console. I otherwise love it, just wish it would stay put.

Proclip has worked well for me in other cars. I don't think I will need this one because I use Carplay to display on the center console.

ProClip adds a new phone mount to their Camaro6 lineup

Got tired to putting the phone in the center console or passenger seat, just for it to wind up between the seats during spirited driving, so I bought the ProClip and associated adjustable cradle.

Installation was very quick. I installed it today.

Haven’t gone out for a drive yet but it seems sturdy enough. I’d only have to put the phone back in the cup holder when I need to charge it. Otherwise it in a nice convenient location that doesn’t block anything!

I had the same problem with mine. I solved the problem by carefully installing a black trim screw into the center of the Proclip to secure it to the console. I drilled very carefully through the mount and the plastic on the console before final placement of the screw. I ran the phone cord from the mount to the console storage compartment and tucked it under the plastic along the side of the console. It is very inconspicuous and completely solved the issue of exposed wiring.

That’s very strange, I have had no such problem with mine.
I didn’t even peel the sticky back on mine at first.
I occasionally remove/reinstall the proclip whenever I’m working on the dash.
Not one single problem.
Maybe the knee pad material has something to do with it?
Mine’s faux suede btw.

I recently bought one and I am not really happy with it. I didn't realize, but the top part is twice as long as it should be. I see no reason it is designed like this, the vertical piece rests far away from the knee rests and the whole things sticks out towards the passenger's knees. It is not really comfortable.
The whole mount doesn't really look like it is custom made for a Gen 6 Camaro.
