Ive only seen 1 other ZL1 and have not seen another ZL1 1LE.
Ive seen a few SS's; most of the sightings have been RS's.

i see 3 -4 ZL1 1LE's at every track days. funny enough there is more 1le's than any other single type of car thier every time i go.
I guess its just where you look...

I agree Tomster. On a daily basis I see far more F-Cars and a ton more P-Cars where I live but I almost never see a ZLE unless I'm at the track and you know what. I'm perfectly OK with that! I think there are quite a few Pcar Track Rat converts like myself that bought these cars and use them the way they were intended.

But here in SoCal there are alot more Mustangs than Camaros as well. I see by far more real 350R's than I have seen ZL1 1LE's. We do have alot of vettes and Z06's running around here.

All I really care about is the smile it puts on my face every time I take it out and especially out on the Track. It's easy to drive at the limit and in the low-lap-time per dollar ratio department it's really hard to beat.

The ZLE is rare enough around my area that the guys at Discount tire were asking to take pictures of it. They had never seen one. This store is in a very "Well to do" area, where they see 2 to 3 Z06s per week at that store. They see so many of them, they keep the Z06 tires on hand. Other high end Porsche, Ferrari etc come in there quit often from what the tell me.

In fact the SS 1LE is a rare sight around here also.

any time I take my car to the stealership there is a crowd of paparazzi (sales guys) that gather around it taking pictures.

I hope that Chevy doesn’t make any more than 3000 total between 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Right now I am sensing that there are a lot less ZLE’s than the 3000 demons made. But why is it that the demon’s command more money than the ZL1 1LE’s. Just don’t get it.
I have seen many YouTube videos of ZLe’s roll race Demon’s and the ZLE’s are faster than the demon’s. Seems like the Demons are only faster if they are running 100 octane with race tire setup.

Why hope for low production numbers ?

Because those of us who have one want to feel that extra little bit of specialness hahaha. Is it childish?? Yes!! Do I care about being childish about it? No! Hahaha

For me personally, it has nothing to do with resale value or the car becoming a collectible (which I don’t think it will ever become). I couldn’t care less about those two things. I wanted to get the first model year and one that didn’t have those silly looking tail lights.

I live in northern NJ, there are tons of people around here with stupid money. My dealership was only able to order two and they are one of the biggest dealerships in the area. One of them they had to fight tooth and nail to get. When I searched in this area I only found two others, a brand new one being sold by another Chevy dealer and a used one being sold by some high end used car dealership. That’s it ! I’ve only seen one other one and it was at a track event in Giants stadium.

I’m really curious to see where the production numbers end up.

There were only 1800 Z28's built. Im not sure where the 750 came from but I would expect a similar amount of 1LE's built if it does exceed the 750.

I live in Northern Virginia, although there are not a lot of them on the road, there sure are a lot of them at the dealers. Vienna has #2, Fredericksburg #1, Woodbridge #2, Richmond #1, Sterling #2, Glen Oak has #2..... lots of used ones for sale as well.

I'm in Central Coast CA and have yet to see one anywhere. I am the only one around my area. It's a neck breaker. I traveled to AZ and saw a red one on the opposite highway as I was leaving CA and that was it.

I plan on buying one summer or fall of 2020 ! These car are becoming so good that the gen 7 ZL1 will be even better, I just proud that true performance is back, and you can build it or just by it, GM keep doing what your doing, This will be my 1st GM new vehicle.

Someone on the forum was told by a GM rep that only 800 2018 models were built.

I believe I also read somewhere that there were only 750 ZL1 1Le produced in 2018.
