So I know the standard SS M6 takes 4 quarts for a transmission fluid change. But the 1LE has a transmission cooler, so doesn't our take more fluid?

The SS has the same cooler.

Hmm. I was under the impression that the transmission cooler was part of the 1LE package.

No. It was just mentioned as a marketing tidbit. The regular SS has the same setup.

From what I've read the 1LE has a slightly larger cooler. Just sayin.

SS is also a track model, the 1LE just adds to it.

Don't remember. But it also sends trans fluid back to rear diff to cool that heat exchanger as well. I'm pretty sure the SS doesn't have that feature but none the less it still only takes 3.6? Qts for a fluid change.
