10-5 minutes having 3rd, 4th, and a 5th gen Camaro it was easy.

You will get used to it in no time. If you are nervous about it once you have the car take Glens advise above. Congrats on your new car in advance. Don't forget to post pics.

Coming from econoboxes like a panda or 3 will be as much of a change as coming from an SUV.

Just raise the seat up and you'll feel better right away.

Parking nose first, yeah, i still have some issue with that. Backing in, no problem- I just make sure i check both mirrors and screen--pretty easy. Better than my POZZ Camry.
I do have mirrors tipped out a bit, that helps a lot. But I wish the left hand mirror was convex like the right one---for a better merge with expressway traffic.

Lol, my experience is quite the opposite. I used to drive a Mazda 3 and I had to move the seat down down down to avoid slamming my head into the roof.

I'd say it took me about a week to get used to the visibility, but rear visibility and a long hood make it a good idea to back into stall parking every single time so you can avoid being hit by cross traffic and avoid hitting the curb.

This is my 4th Camaro and I love the car to death, but I will never say there are no visibility issues. There are, and they are obvious. I have been driving for over 40 years, and this car has the worst outward visibility of any car I have ever driven, by far.

Yes, to answer the OP's question, you can and do get used to it. For the most part, you don't even think about it while driving the car. But the visibility issue never goes away.

When asked if there is a visibility issue, the typical response in this forum is to say something like, "It's not as much of an issue as it's made out to be. You just need to adjust your mirrors properly." Doesn't adjusting the mirrors properly apply to any car? Why is that always mentioned if there are no issues?

And it's not only the rearward visibility or the visibility over the hood, but there is also a visibility issue to the front caused by the huge A pillars. I have made left turns where I have had to move my head back and forth to see what's in the field of view behind the pillar.

Again, the Camaro's overall awesomeness tends to make folks downplay the visibility issues, or claim they don't exist. When people ask me how I like the car, the first thing out of my mouth is not the visibility issues. I'll tell them how I love it more than any car I've ever owned and it's totally badass. But if they ask about the visibility issues, I'll tell them it has the worst visibility of any car I've ever owned.

I dont notice it too much untill I get into a different car, then it feels like a cave, lol. My frs feels like a fish bowl compared to the Camaro, lol. Honestly though, for me, there are really only two bad spots, one worse than the other. Looking over the hood is a pain sometimes, but that happens in alot of cars. The A pillars in the front are absolutely terrible. I've pulled out in front of two cars because they were completely hidden behind the pillars. Have to physically move in my seat to look around both sides of it. I'm surprised that I rarely hear about the a pillars, it's always the side windows or back window, which, like most said, can be fixed with adjusting your mirrors. "This is coming from someone with rear window louvers on the car"

it is important to realize how wide the image is from your backup camera
