I looked at one at the Indy auto show and it was $43,000. Way too over priced.

I'm no less of a person because I drive a mustang, however I don't understand why they have these cars 38K - 44K.. lmao 290hp 300lbs tq. Do these things even sell, and why would anyone buy one.. I don't think I understand?

I thought you had the neon shitbox. Thats what I was refering to. But still the evo 9 was a shitbox as well. It was just a good performer, but a shitbox in everyother catagory.

Yes the EVO X is more mainstream than the EVO 8-9's .
Yes its heavier than the 8-9's but pretty much as fast on a road track . BTW the EVO X's gains 50-70 WHP from just a reflash ! "Shitbox" = "A EVO is a $15,000 car with a $15,000 drivetrain" LOL

The new Evo's are going up in quality. The 43k one I believe is fully optioned with full leather interior; much higher quality than the Camaro. I think Mitsubishi is trying to gun for BMW with the new MR touring. I'd actually be considering it if I was looking for a fun sedan. The G8's good but the AWD opens up so many more options. It'd be a hard choice for me.
Base Evo's start around 36k I think. Still a great car that can do a lot given a few tweaks. |
