Made a couple of passes Saturday

This is my new personal best. Da was far from great. Car has ported tb and im, 2" kooks, and rotofab dry. It's a 2ss auto. Not sure on weight yet but nothing removed from the car. 325/30/19 Mps4s on asphalt. Best launch was to brake it to 1,500 and then roll on the throttle. Anything else would just spin.

WOW!! I have never seen DA like that! I also did some runs on Saturday. DA was in the 1,575 - 1,700 range for my runs. My best was 12.68 @ 110.54. It's a 2SS vert 8AT, all stock except GM Performance CAI. 0-60 for that 12.68 run was 4.5s according to the in-car timer. I imagine it would be a lot slower in 10k DA.

Not bad for 10k DA you would be in the 11's with some reasonable air.

That's good to know. It's so hard to compare with others. I always feel a little let down when I see the numbers but the car feels quick.

You're one of the few guys with before and after cai drag strip data. Nice.

Should also point out that my trap speeds have improved by more than 1mph, so I think it's helping the breathing a lot throughout the whole run. Typically my longer ETs have had higher trap speeds ('cause I'm playing catch up and have more time to gain speed) Every one of my under 12.9 times trapped over 110. Before CAI my 12.8 - 12.9 runs would trap at 107.2 - 109.6.

Squish72, are there areas in Nevada that are closer to sea level where you can run 0-60 using the vehicle’s timer? I guess I’ve always assumed much of Nevada is desert, as in low and flat. Surprised to see the high elevation for the track and the super high DA.

well sadly no. The lowest spot I could test at around 1,700-2,000ft. But thats 3 and a half hour drive from where Im at. Even Vegas is at 2,000ft

I looked it up and a website said this "the State of Nevada sits at 2,000 or more feet above sea level. Nevada's mean altitude of 5,500 feet above sea level makes it the fifth highest state."
