Saw the 1st Z/28 in my area...
Ran across this making my rounds & In the small town of Hebbronville of all places on a small temporary used car lot.
'14 with 12k miles & asking $45k...don't keep up with the market so not sure if that was fair. Thought I would pass along & in the area a couple times a week if someone has an itch & wants me check anything out. Neat car, glad I caught it. |

Nice find, I'd enjoy seeing one in the wild. That front spoiler is huge, anyone know the weight of that piece?

Great color, just wondering why it doesn't have a
Flow-tie? |

Good catch! And if it is a "real" Z, what owner would replace the flow tie with a normal Chevy bow tie?

Maybe someone stole the Flow-tie (or it broke )and whoever replaced it just plopped on the standard bowtie.

Might be the only logical reason.

I can't imagine someone going to all the expense to clone a Z/28 - including the wheels and aero - and NOT put on the flow-tie.
I think it was just an error or, an availability issue. Pretty sure that is a real life Z/28 with a bow-tie.

Agreed because I think that way too, yet people still do it. It has the look of a real Z. We have already seen 6th gen ZL1 clones posted in the ZL1 part of this forum. Can't believe that somebody would buy the hood (although it wasn't painted and looked like a glossy version of a 1LE hood), grill, ground effects, wing, and wheels for a ZL1 but it does happen.

Thank you! If that's the case, it should be an "R" title, right?

I heard once of a body shop replacing a rear bumper cover on a 335D with a standard 335 bumper cover minus the DEF fuel door. If it can be screwed up they will screw it up.
