October and Tail of the Dragon

I am thinking of returning to North Carolina and having another go at The Tail of the Dragon over Columbus Day weekend (we get that as a holiday). It is a good time for temperatures and possible fall colors.

Just wanted to test the waters to see if there might be any interest in making it a trip.

Better off in the Ozarks Jasper area in my opinion. The Dragon is way too crowded to enjoy nowadays.

I have a farm at The Lake of the Ozarks (also S/O has farm in North Carolina) and I am very familiar with the area. Moonshiner 28 wasn't crowded, nor was the Cherohala.

All that being said, I am open to any trip.
