I guess im kind of torn on the need for a 1LE right now. the previous one was released to address all of the trackability issues the SS has (understeer etc.). The current car has yet to really show any of these issues. So unless the new 1LE is released to really be more of a Track Pack type thing im not really sure what changes they could make. the car hasn't been out long enough for improvements to really make sense...or they would have just been implemented in the standard car.

So, is there anyone suspecting that the Sema "Performance Package Concept" may in fact be the 1LE? instead of getting a black hood, you get that specific stripes set? its a farfetched idea since we've seen so much of the performance concept already, but its possible. the Sema car did come with the chevy performance exhaust (not the NPP one) which is what leads me to this theory.
what do you guys think?

Considering how many old farts with too much money buy them to drive to Starbucks, might not be the best example.

The biggest issue from reviews with the SS is the oversteer. It gets loose in the back end while pushing through the corners. I have a feeling this might be one of the aspects they address. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Very cool news. I figured they would release the Z first and then the 1LE. Going to be an interesting next two months. I hope this 1LE includes a small power bump in addition to the suspension and brake upgrades. GT350 would be a tall target with the Z aimed at the 350R but with the performance of the standard SS I think they can do it.

I would like to see six piston front brakes as part of the package. $3000 for a dealer made brake upgrade is rediculous. Also would like to see some type of performance seat available for all models separate from the 1LE package. Really looking forward to this reveal though I doubt I'll be upgrading my 1LE.

http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=433199 I'd still give the GT350 TP the advantage, but it is certainly not a tall target to beat.

We at least know that these cars can fit 335 rear tires. At least that's what the performance car has.

Aero really doesn't show in those tests. And the GT350 has about as much aero as the SS. R definitely has more, but still no where near what the ACR has. And considering we still haven't really seen comparison of track times of an SS and GT350TP, there's no reason to believe there is that much of a difference.

It will have more than that. It has to have more than that.
