Internal engine components you are correct...bolt on parts will take time to R&D and mass produce.

Throttle bodies and intake manifolds are identical too.

It takes time for the aftermarket companies to get up to speed with a new generation car.

It's only now that really serious parts are starting to filter out for the S550 Mustangs..and they've been on the market for nearly 18 months now.

Even "big name" companies have limited budgets to sink into new products and projects, and the 6th Gen Camaro may represent only a tiny fraction of their overall anticipated sales.

Give it time, the 6th Gen's story is just now starting.

November 7th was the very first delivery. It takes a good 3-4 months for an aftermarket company to actually do good R&D and make sure everything is as good as it should be.

In Feb and March you will see A LOT of products being released into the market, just be a little patient haha.

We did not have the opportuninties with the Gen 6 we had with the Gen5.

We had availability to prototypes years before the car was produced.

The 2010s were released early in 2009 and the market had parts before they were released.

I got the First Gen6 in CT. Dec 7 and we have already covered a lot of ground in testing products, we have a pile more to do and little time to do it.

My car has more dyno miles than road miles.

Exhaust is a huge step in performance unlike the Gen 5.

See my test results here http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=436608

Lots more to come stay tuned.

Ted.
