From Duel to NPP System?
Sorry if its been asked before but didnt see it within my searches but I currently have super 10's on a non NPP system 2017 2SS (single tips). I didnt do anything to it aside from cutting away the old mufflers and adding the super 10's. My cousin has a 2017 2SS with the quad exhaust NPP system his car sounds soooooo much more beefier than mine. Im a bit jealous. Lol. Is it possible for me to go to the NPP system? If so, what needs to be done? I just didnt want to eliminate anything that would harm my warranty or I wouldve cuy away at least one set of converters.

I don't think it is possible. The NPP is also tied into the Mylink system. So that too would need to be changed out/upgraded. Not Cheap. Best bet would be going aftermartket and getting quad tips on your exhaust.

Nothing is impossible but it wouldn't be cost effective.

It would cost a lot to get dual mode exhaust to work, I have yet to see a vendor that sells a conversion kit with the actuators & electronic controls.
If you just want the NPP exhaust & quad tips and don't care about controlling the NPP (and would leave the NPP valves open all the time since they are spring loaded open) then that's pretty simple, just find one and put it on, you'd just need a new rear valance to allow the quad tips to fit. |

I really just want my car to sound like his. I'm slightly jealous. Lol. I thought super 10s would do it but that wasn't the case.

Super 10's should make your car loud. But loud does not make a good sound.

You're going to have to pay to play. No easy "Fix" to make your car sound like a SS equipped with NPP. Stainless Works, Borla, Kooks, are just some of the aftermarket options you'll want to look at if you want a good sounding SS.

If it's even possible, it's not going to cheap or easy.
