Starting to regret white

Having come from black cars I decided to get white this go around thinking it would be easier to maintain.

What I'm noticing is that now instead of white, I have an everything bagel!

If I look close, there are so many little particles stuck in the paint that I can't seem to get completely out no matter how much I clay. I only have 5,000 miles or so with limited highway driving and have a handful of small chips which show up as black spots. This paint chips way too easy...

Any advice?

Rail dust? Iron x would help get rid of those...paint chips not much you can do other than cover with paint.

Agreed...black/brown flecks are iron dust from the rails....use Iron-X wash

Can you post a pic? This happens on white cars more than any other color .

Are they black particles? Mine has tiny sparkles(not black) all over, no matter how much I compound and polish. They seem to mostly become invisible after the polish/seal and crystal seal application.

Try Carpro Trix, it removes both iron and tar at the same time.

give it a few weeks / months... those black ones will eventually turn to rusty ones. My guess is the black will also respond to iron-x

I had the same thing goin on so I took it to a detail shop who clay barred to remove the flakes and then I added Cquartz. I'm a pretty happy camper when it comes to cleaning my car now. I had a black Camaro so I decided to try a different color so far so good.

Agreed. Complaining about white makes no sense imo. The darker the color the harder it is to
maintain and keep looking new. The Summit White paint on my 8 year old 5th Gen still looks great.

Well, white isn't any easier to get and keep clean. They are all the same. It's just some colors hide the dirt better, but it's still there.

I don't know if it is easier to clean, but it's certainly easier to detail. Because you don't get the reflective gloss, you just need to get good coverage of a wipe on sealant. And that's easy.
