What's aggravating is that I now have to buy a set of winter tires for the 1500mi Break-In, ...then throw them away.

Hey GM, how about offering winter tires with your WINTER DELIVERIES...

Why do that? Take it a top notch detailer to get it wrapped without showing edges and coated (if they do it right they should take all your aero off, rear lights, etc...)

That could take a month in a warm garage, then bring her home and wait for warmer temps.

This can also cost around 8K, I've been calling for quotes and the cheapest I found was around 5K, I didn't like the fact that the cheap place was going to clay the car and then just wrap the car. No paint correction what so ever. Esoteric said 7-8K expensive but well worth it.

There should be a carrier headed to Chesapeake, VA with a black ZL1 1LE and a white ZL1 1LE. (The black one, 1G1FJ1R62J0130795, is mine).

I'm not 100% sure why, but it appears GM is consolidating the ZL1 1LEs for shipment. More than one carrier has been spotted loaded with ZL1 1LEs.

It really does seem like GM is on track to exceed the 750 per year figure. The ZL1 1LE is not difficult to locate. The regular ZL1 was much harder to get this time last year and there's 1000's of those.

Of course, if GM is planning for a Z/28, they'd want to get these ZL1 1LEs out the door ASAP.

There is NO Z28 in the pipeline.

it seems like 1500+..... they claimed limited and sold many because of that claim, However they don't seem limited to me.... I see 2 or 3 zl1lE'S at every track day i go too, there seems to always be a couple at car shows i go to, and i see them at dealers sitting on lots... It would be interesting to know how many but i bet they never release final numbers. How many Ford GT's do you see? Nismo GTR's? Shelby GT 350"R"'s. I have only ever seen one of each tho's cars. But i have seen Many Zl1Le's in person...

Just my 2 cents Im sure there is more way more than the claimed 750

750 was the initial guesstimate. They matched production to demand. No doubt they were a little gun-shy after the 2015 Z/28 debacle.

We'll see final numbers once the production statistics are released. Might be a couple months, though.
