First Oil Change 18 1LE

My 18 1LE has 1100+ miles on her and is sitting in my garage for the winter.

I remember browsing through the manual and didn't see any oil change intervals.

Nothing in the maintenance section on oil changes.

I'm looking at taking her out of storage come April and cannot locate my manual.

I just found the 18 manual online in .pdf. Nothing on when to do oil changes in the maintenance section.

Did I F myself?

Is my first oil change long overdue?

1100 easy Miles and 18 months old.

Thanks,

Youre fine, first oil change is horribly overrated. Important yes but not to the extent you and others on this forum play it out to be.

1100 miles in 18 months? Miles in your case isnt the issue, its the time. No matter the mileage, you should always change the oil by 12 months...

Yes, every year regardless.
Especially in the Northeast where we have four seasons of temperature and humidity changes going all over the place.

After searching my house for better than an hour, I found my owners \ user manual. "It has to be in the Car" I wouldn't toss that S. My wife? She would know better than to even think about throwing something away related to my Camaro, Vette or other play things. So, I walked through the snow and went out to the garage. Lifted the cover off the Camaro so I could open the door. The manual was in the Glove Box. Lol

I guess the oil has changed a little.
Should I be using the latest and greatest Mobil1 0w40?
The oil for the latest Corvette using the same motor we have?

I use this in mine. Works fine and you can pick up jugs at Walmart for cheap.
