So does a SBE consist of block, crank, rods & pistons or what I call a short block?
Or is it just the block & crank?

Stock Bottom End should be a stock short block. Cams, heads, and valve train are the top end.

Nothing that touches oil can be changed in the rotating assembly. So stock crank, rods, pistons, block. No rod bolts. You can swap the cam and appropriate parts.

But this car is SLB. Stock Long Block. So absolutely nothing in the motor has been changed. Just the few bolt on's listed and some tuning.

What kind of times on e85 with no weight reduction? Is 11.0 with drag pack 11.3 or so on street tires in the ballpark?

The only weight reduction was the rear seats I believe. I have no idea on street tires.

Correct a SBE is the stock short block, add the heads & it's a long block. I don't think the valve train is part of either, because there are to many choices. People want to choose valve train specs for thier combo.

Exactly, that car is flying on SLB with just bolt on's!
How much does it weigh?

Not sure on the weight. It is a fully optioned 2SS. My race weight on the same Race Stars with all the seats in was 3,820-3,840 depending on the scale. And I had an A8. I am not sure which is heavier, A8 and converter or M6 and clutch. There is more real metal in the M6 but the A8 is a big girl for sure.

Nice, off topic but I bought 1 of your stock ported IM from a person on here. Just wondering if my ported 95mm TB will bolt up to it?
I do have a spacer plate if I need it, but it looks like the opening is not ported.

The snout of my stuff is completely ported but I dont open up the edge of it cuz there is no reason on the stock TB. It can be opened up to fit the 95mm though.

Great, I'm going to port match it to my 95 so I don't have to use the spacer & just the paper gasket that came with it.
