Using this one - so far so good, takes 9V battery.

I'm thinking that they were never installed and would like to see if there is a way to check without taking the tires off?
I just went through this with my new MRR FS01s. I couldn’t get them to sync. The vendor sent a new set and they synced immediately. The sensors you have are probably generic and were not programmed correctly before being sent out.

I can vouch for this one as well. Worked like a charm.

I ordered a Auto Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor TPMS Relearn Reset Activation Tool on Amazon, $17, works perfect every time. I even programed 4 sensors that weren't on the car or mounted on a wheel. The display showed 0 PSI for each and I got a test from On-Star saying that I had one or more flat tires. I then programmed the set that where on the car and had no problems at all.

These units from amazon all look to be the same, but with different branding. I used my version of this tool for the past 3 years with no issues. You do have to stick the black cylinder right up against the tire (not rim) where the valve stem is inserted or the signal is not strong enough.
