Tire Age Question
Hi All,
I've see some good deals on tires that are new old stock. How old is too old for a tire to be worth getting at a deep discount. I found a pair of race spec tires (80 tread compound) that are Dated from 2013. That seems pretty old, but if I am going to burn the tread off them in a season, does it matter?

As of an age of 3 years they are considered as new. Normaly you say approx. 7 year and than they are worn out due to UV sun light. But if they were stored properly you can use them to burn them down.
