this is the base line and I had already installed the Roto Fab CAI. (but it was also running super rich) His shop hand told me that they all agree not all gm motors run the same hp wise and it was one of the strongest running motors they had seen. So that made me happy also.

Very nice. Would be nice to see some numbers similar to this on an A8. Are you able to give out cam specs? Trying to see if it's too big for the stock converter.

Way too big for stock converter.

It is the biggest cam they make.

Ah yeah. I forgot he said he had that cam. I think TSP offers another cam for stock converter cars but, for those specs, it'll be hard to justify the cost of doing the swap.

436 baseline seems a little happy but good numbers in the end!

I thought that also when i initially seen it. I had seen pretty much 385-395 ish for pretty much everybody on here that was stock. So I figured that with the Roto Fab CAI that it might be around 410 tops.

I mean Im glad it is where it is though

The sv1 slightly above yours is also stock converter friendly. I've seen some guys with 5gs running the sv2 on a stock converter as well. The sv3 is a no go

I have to laugh.

Someone has a Base line under 400 and it's a "Heart Breaker" Dyno and if it comes up 420s+ it's "Happy" Dyno. Like the numbers don't count or something?

Who cares. It's a Tool to dial in and Tune.

He got 133HP gain. Good Stuff. That is all that matters.

I haven't did a baseline yet. But if mine comes up 340, I won't care. As long as when I am done I have 120hp+ gain.

Yes, exactly true, its just when someone posts up saying "hey wow i got 569hp NA" but then you find out the baseline was already 40-50hp over what "most" seem to get. ~510 rwhp on pump is still a good gain, it just comes down to whether the cost for the gain made compared with other options.
