Painted Side Reflector Redo With Poll!

I'm pretty new to the Camaro world so forgive me if I missed it. I did a Google search and only found 1 company (Oracle) that made painted side reflectors seen HERE (Factory Ghost Paint) on the 5th gen. These are very popular in the M3 world like THESE & THESE for example.

I have seen the black out films quit a bit on the forums. I understand it's a new car and those are a much easier product to roll out fast. I think those look good over the reflectors in the black diffuser. They look good on a black car also, but It's my opinion that they draw attention to something I think would look better blended in on other colors. If you like the contrast look cool, not trying to offend anyone. Does any one else make these? Is anyone else interested in this?

I'd take a front and rear set!

I actually sent an email to Don @ RPI Designs days ago because they do other painted Camaro products and got no response. Today I sent a contact through their respective websites to Oracle and IND who I linked above (don't hold your breath on IND, they do Euro cars). We'll see if I get any responses.

I am currently waiting on GScreations to finish up their markers for the gen6 SS and will be snagging the clear markers. Which you can find HERE for their C7s. Kracka also has them on his C7, they look great! As for rears. I already have VetteFX OEM marker LED conversions. Instead of 1 craptastic bulb, have 9 LED's in them them and I love em. Look SO MUCH better! Which you can see HERE (post #19 and #22).

I think the image link on some of your posts is bad. Images not showing for me, might want to recheck them. The LED's are cool but I want to make these look like they disappeared, not brighter lol. Thanks for the info.

If you are going for the stealthy look, definitely what you linked would be the way to go haha.

Keep us posted on what they say! If they come out with clear ones before GScreations, who knows, I may grab those!

Thanks Don, I received your voice mail reply. Those look great and it was really helpful for me to see them on the color I ordered!

I assume with no bulb in the lights there are not any "out bulb" warnings on the dash for side markers right? I know traditionally those are for brake lights. Just wondering if a resistor will be needed.

Might be dumb but is "ghost paint" body colored but allows light to shine through? If so then that's what I would get in a heartbeat.

That's exactly what it is. About a minute in this guys video shows them in the daylight. I agree that is the best of both worlds:
