I'm thinking that it'll be more comparable in size and price to the Ford Explorer. My Escape is fully loaded. If I get the Blazer I may not be able to get all of the extras.

It will be comparable in size and price to the Ford Edge. The Traverese is more comparable to the Explorer

Its the Chevy version of the new Acadia/XT5. It'll slot between the Equinox and Traverse in both size and price, which I think will make it an Edge competitor (not Explorer). But I don't know Ford crossover lineup that well.

I believe it would go like this GM to Ford

Trax - Ecosport
Equinox-Escape
Blazer - Edge
Traveres - Explorer
Tahoe - Expedition
Suburban- Expedition Max

I agree with this. But it also seems to me that the Blazer and Traverse are just a bit longer than the Edge and Explorer. I dunno. Too lazy to look up actual vehicle length and interior space / legroom.

Yeah the Blazer is slightly longer, but not as tall or wide.

Traveser I think is like 5 inches longer than the Explorer

In the grill. Shuts during highway running to improve fuel economy by reducing drag.

Why do you think it specifies "upper"?

Probably if they closed off the "lower" it would overheat.

Right but why even specify it if no lower ones exist is what I'm getting at. I'm probably curious over nothing haha I just find it odd.

Yeah, it's likely much-ado-about nothing...a lot of fluff for minimal improvement. That top grille is so small they should probably just close it off permanently without an open-close system....I guess if you can make something complicated and seemingly hi-tech, it must be done!...lol

Blazer starts at $29,995.

Which interestingly enough, is actually more expensive than Traverse...
