Front splitter advice
Hey guys I'm going to doing my first cosmetic mods soon and it's goin to be a z/28 spoiler with wicker bill, I was thinking the apr frot splitter with rod supports that fit a 2010-2013 camaro will that fit the 2014 v6 front end as well? Seems like it could it seems like it would mount very similarly. What do you guys think? The only splitter so far for us '14 v6 guys so far seems to be the gm one and I'd want something a little more aggressive and functional, god I wish some one would make a v6 style splitter for the 14 possibly in the z/28 style!

v6 Camaros should not have front splitters. They utilize no purpose and are nothing more than a wannabe disguise.

Don't listen to that guy.
I don't know much about the APR splitter but I would try to get demensions and then try to measure it all out. Though the changes to the 14 bumper might make it not fit. But never hurts to look into it. Or see if someone has one on a 10-13 in your area to measure it all that way

I think the word you are looking for is SERVE, and you are wrong. They serve the same purpose on any Camaro.

I have an SS and love what my SLP splitter did for the apperance.
But being honest, I don't think anyone's splitters are serving a true purpose unless you are spending some serious time on the road course and that is a small crowd of Z/28 and a small % of the 1LE guys, which is miniscule compared to the general camaro population. In my opinion I wouldnt spend all that money to church up a 1LS, I would save so you can trade up down the road. But thats just me. No doubt the splitter/spoiler combo you are talkign about will look good, but is it worth the money to slap on to the base base model of the camaro? your call

What, WTF? Most of the people that have a splitter on their car have it there for nothing more then looks. Only a small portion of owners actually drive hard enough for the splitter to serve its purpose.

The same argument could be posed for the spoiler... Most people are not going to drive their car hard enough to need the downforce that the spoilers are designed to give... but for some reason people still buy and install them. It's purely cosmetic. I like the looks of the splitters and spoilers on these Camaros and I may, at some point, put one of each on my camaro even though it is a V6 regardless of whether I need it or not...

+1 Engine has nothing to do with the effectivness of a splitter.

The APR is a flat splitter, so I think you could make it work. Might have to modify the bolt hole locations, but I think it would work.

^^thats what I was thinking man. Maybe I'll just buy it an be a pioneer lol. I'll send apr a message as well. And as far as all you guys saying spoiler and splitter won't be effective on a base camaro, that's your opinion. I she's my own money for 2 years to put down enough money to e able to make easy payments on my camaro. I'm a college student and my ultimate goal is to get this car on the road course at nola motorsports, that's part of the reason I bought a manual. I realize most say they wanna do this or wanna do that to their cars and never do, but I'm not most people. There are a few people on this forum sycraft,Gretchen, etc. that have made these v6 cars into something fierce and I plan to do the same as well. Does anyone know anybody that has the apr splitter on their camaro?
