Blazer pulling off the Camaro look

https://www.caranddriver.com/news/20...hotos-and-info

I guess this new design language works better on SUVs but the new Blazer is really pulling off the new Camaro look which makes me feel like the 2019 "facelift" of the Camaro is even more questionable

Looks like a Nissan Murano. Very different direction for Chevy compared to what they've been doing with their SUVs.

At least the bowtie is where it belongs, move it on the 2019 SS and the front will be at least be "not to bad"

This comes across as a lot more svelte and angular than the execution of this design on the Camaro. Somehow, even after shaving off weight and inches from the 5th gen, the current Camaros still look way too bloated. I think a big part is the high beltline and small greenhouse on the Camaro. This Blazer looks a lot more balanced and proportionate.

This interior looks amazing for a GM vehicle. I hope the production car retains most of that look. Only thing I'm not sure is what does GM mean by "target household income of 135k" for the Blazer buyers...are they going to priceinflate it like a tahoe/suburban?

Bingo. I've always said that the high beltline and small windows on the Camaro makes it look awkward, especially from certain angles.

Hopefully the 7th gen. will solve the visibility issue. They should have listened to the masses instead of listening to the 5th. gen. Camaro faithful, when developing the 6th. gen.

We're talking about this already here if you wanna join the discussion. I'm sure a mod will merge these.

Great looking car, especially for a CUV.

this design is 3+ years old.
youll notice a lot of GM vehicles use the same inteiors (vents, dash, trims)
I think they need to do away with that and make each one unique.
and get some commercials for the Camaro and corvettes.

It's possible that due to people having exceedingly (almost unrealistic) high expectations of what the new Camaro should be/look like, that an SUV not as dear to enthusiasts can get away with praise and acceptance more easily.

Notice how people have done "touch-ups" to the front end to make it "significantly better". The refresh actually isn't that bad: it's our obsessive eye, and unrealistic expectations that stems from a strong passion. The majority of the average Joe's/Joe's-ettes I see in other social media outlets seem to really like the appearance of the refresh.

I'm sure it won't be long before the old K5 Blazer fans come out of the woodwork and blast Chevy for putting the Blazer name on a grocery-getter crossover SUV. With the retro looking Bronco returning to Ford, I'm actually really surprised Chevy didn't follow suit with the Blazer. I'd Chevy would be looking to poach some Wrangler sales from FCA.

It’s not a Camaro look, it’s the Chevy look. They’re all corporate faces now.
