My P013E, P014A Fix

Starting getting the engine check light coming on so I checked the P codes . Found P013E and P014A which roughly has to do with fuel mixture, injector rails ect.

Since the P codes were all fuel related I decided to clean and oil my CAI K&N filter first; the filter didn't look that dirty but I did it anyway.

That fixed the engine check light issue and P codes. I figure, start with the easy stuff first. Just a heads up for anyone who may get these codes.

Cheers

I spoke too soon, the errors have returned. Thinks I will try the spark plugs next.

Those dtcs are likely a result of your exhaust modifications. A delayed response from rich to lean on both downstream o2 sensors. How long has it been tuned? To me it suggests the ECM is seeing a rich condition post cat for longer than it wants, suggesting the cats are losing efficiency (for stock cats). Your tuner should have shut these codes out.

I installed Summit Racing wires and NGK plugs and the check engine light went out. The stock plugs were in bad shape, a lot of electrode ware. I'm at 65K miles, if your running a SC I would suggest you replace your plugs if it's been a while.

My tune includes the exhaust mods, have had the exhaust mods for a while and never received these P codes. Looks like the spark plugs were the issue.
