I've Been Smogged

I received my car registration this month and found I needed to get a smog certificate. I was concerned due to my mods I have. I'm not sure if I lucked out but the smog cert place I went to never popped the hood or analyzed the exhaust gases. Needless to say I passed, what a releif.

Had mine done 2 weeks ago, same exact thing. Just an obd2 check and gas cap check. Just need to make sure no CE lights and readiness monitors are set in Arizona.

I Passed the smog even though i have fake cats but failed for not having mufflers even though there is no db limit. How much sense does that make.

I lived in CA for many years and there smog certification process is more involved. They did check under the hood and measure exhaust gases. If you pass the exhaust portion on the test I don't see why they wouldn't give you a pass. Good luck, keep us posted.

Here it cost ~ $13.00 weather you pass or fail. Pretty cheap.
