The refresh will be a repeat of the Gen 5 refresh. Total of 3 model years, then MCE and the ZL1 kept its face. SS and the base cars got the front changes.

I am ready to the pull the trigger on a 17 or 18 now, but I would hate to buy one and see minor cosmetic changes although I am shooting for the ZL1 and like iPOD stated..the ZL1 maintained the cosmetic looks in the last mid-cycle refresh. Based on those images, it looks like it will maintain the same again and I cannot imagine many changes to the ZL1 so perhaps my concerns are irrelevant

I think as somebody said, the only reason the 5th gen ZL1 retained the pre-refresh fascia was due to airflow constraints wth the refresh fascia. The 6th gen Camaro already has a tiny top grill but a large lower grill. Unless they plan to somehow shrink that lower grill or do something else to reduce airflow again, I would say there is a good chance the 2019 ZL1 will get a facelift.

At very least, it'll get the refreshed rear end in 2019 for sure. And God knows the 6th gen needs a lot of work in the rear.

The way I see it, you can spend basically forever wondering what the next refresh is going to look like -- that game never ends. Or you can buy what you want now, because the current ZL1 is the very definition of a bitchin' Camaro . It's hard to imagine GM doing anything magical soon that will make this ZL1 less awesome.

Well said ... and honestly I don't think the front end needs reworking. It's gorgeous, but that rear end has been what has kept me from pulling the trigger. I loved the C6 and Camaro 5th gen.. don't like the rear panels of either right now

I agree, I love the back end. Looks mean just like the rest of the car.

They need to "refresh" the interior storage spaces for this car. It may be a relatively minor pet peeve, but the interior storage spaces in the car suck for real. Every time I accelerate my cell phone goes flying into the rear seat area somewhere when cup holders are in use.

Again, its a small thing, but the details count!

It is absolutely NOT Ugly. Not implying that.. It just doesn't quite "stir the soul" like the 5th did and the C6. Can't stand light colored lenses like they did by integrating the reverse lamps. I may find a way to tint those or put the 1LE lights on there.

I DO, however, like the look of the rear with the flat spoiler on some of the SS 1LE packages... the one similar to the C7 grand sport and Z06. That cleans it up for me a bit. Mind you... these are petty nitpicking on my part. If I'm to drop 50+ I want it perfect. If the refresh will be minimal then it certainly won't deter me from purchasing. I'm planning on emailing Becky this week to see how the process would unfold

All possible with LPO options for blade spoiler and dark taillights. Becky set me up with the first production blade spoiler.

The taillights I agree need to be dark I am not happy with the dark tail lamps from GM on HBM they look too clear to me I want a more tinted look.

So I am going to pick up a spare set and VHT them or have them tinted.

I was not a far on the SS spoiler I liked the look of the one on the 1LE until I saw it in person on a RS I person I needed something more defined. For now I like the SS spoiler if I decided to do the ZL1 appearance conversion I will do the spoiler as well.

The rear looks pretty good to me, but it depends on trim. 1LE rear end looks phenomenal.
