Lug Nuts

I have a 2020 1LE and replaced the chrome lug nuts with black m14 X 1.5 available everywhere. I notice the back lug nuts stick out further than stock, so today I grabbed the stock to measure, they seem to be about 1 5/16.
I don’t find any black one available in that size.
Can somebody give me some insight on these?

Why not just go with the standard GM black lug nuts and call it a day?

Here is a photo and dimensions of some aftermarket lug nuts I was comparing to the factory lug nut (at far left).

From left to right, the other nuts are (1) unknown aftermarket (maybe McGard without bulge cone seat?), (2) McGard black chrome with bulge cone seat (type of seat used on the factory lugs nuts) - 1.648" long, (3) McGard black locking lug (same as GM factory option), (4) McGard black chrome with bulge cone seat - 1.945" long. I ended up going with the last one, even though it was longer, since it seemed like it would help "guide" a socket onto the lug nut rather than having someone clumsy ding the wheel.

After two years on the car, the longer lug nuts "look right" since I can't remember how it looked with the factory lug nuts...

Yeah, McGard aren't cheap either but there's a ton of really poor quality MIC lug nuts on the market.

I've personally thrown out 2 sets of open ended lug nuts used for my track/autox setup because of quality issues before buying MSI lug nuts.

For regular closed lug nuts, go OEM or McGard... otherwise, YMMV.

These are amazing, low profile, have a factory tapered contact edge, painted gloss black so doesn’t distract, and locking:

Gorilla Automotive 96643BDX Black Factory Style Wheel Lock System (14mm x 1.50 Thread Size, 20-Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N4VSVYG...TAK5YNS5H8RJX0

With a listed overall length of 1.62", these are closer to the length of the factory lugs than the options I posted above. I had poor luck with the matte black finish on the last set of Gorilla lugs I used, but maybe their gloss finish on these holds up better?

I had Gorillas before and almost all 20 of them, not just one, began rusting at the open end and everywhere the torque wrench grabbed onto them after just a few uses. Switched to McGards and these are way better, they still look basically brand new.

Any suggestions for a color appropriate set of (4) wheel locks for 1LE (gunmetal finish) wheels? Looking closely, the lugs are lighter colored.
