1LE Quarter mile kings come in

Alright guys ,so I have a 2018 cmaro 1LE with full bolt ons and with 13k miles on the clock.
Specs
Lt2 intake 95tb
2in full length headers with full 3 exhaust and x pipe and into axle back AWE touring mufflers.
160 thermostat
Roto fab CAI
Msd wires
And E 85
M6
And remote tune tuned by GPI
So I want to take it to the track for 1/4
mile pass. The car feels pretty healthy on the street, but I want to know what lauching techniques you guys have luck with, right now I can only use launch control so it won't spin the tires.
Tires are stock 305 50 20 SC3s.
I been to the track for 20 years but never on a 6speed manual car.
Old guy here lol
Thanks

Might want to roll over to the Drag racing section as you'll have more of a drag racing audience.

Be prepared for the "why drag a 1LE" and "Just put ET streets on it and drop the clutch" but there should be some better info there for you.

Really needs a et street r on a 17” wheel in the back.

FBO on a 26” tire should be 11 flat and 10s in good air with skinnies, rear seat out

Hold 4k then blip up to 5,500 and slip the clutch as quickly as possible with out shocking the drivetrain. Add throttle slowly. It’s not a sidestep or burning the clutch.

When the clutch is out, plant your right foot the rest of the way.

I went twice without a tire and i couldn’t get a single good pass in

I noticed that as well moving to the white car, that’s why I never got a clean pass.
My 16 ss never once did it.

I got a 305 et street r on a 17x9.5 in the back before I did any harm. Now it’s all good

I should do more 1/4mi runs. It's not why I bought the car, but going to a test-n-tune night for like $50 is a lot of fun.

as mentioned, ditch the factory wheel for a drag wheel. i had pretty good luck on a 26" mt et street r. i think i could've gotten the car down a couple more tenths if i had more opportunities. the car ran good but was heavy and i had 0 experience launching it at the track. i had 1 decent launch of 3 passes. the mph was there every time regardless of 60' though.

this was during the "everything shortage" so no track prep. i left like it was on the street and surprisingly it dead hooked, bogged and almost died. i never went back to the track.

Just going by your mods, you've got less than 600rwhp, so you should be able to put MT on it and get it to go down the track.

I'm just concern about the violent wheel hoop and been serching and trying to understang how drag radials will make my hooping issues go away, must people say id the lower control arms and cradle bushings so I was going to change everything at once!

Tires have a lot to do with wheel hop.
A tire that works great in the summer may hop bad in cooler weather.
