2019 1le mirror housing passenger side

So mine appears to have been hit by concentrated sunlight and started to melt.... anyone have any leads on where I can get a replacement? Passenger side Mirror works and glass is fine... just the housing got toasted lol.

I had to replace one on my 2020 1LE before. I could never find a 1LE specific mirror due to the satin finish, most I found are body colored.
I ended up buying an unpainted housing ~$100 I think it was, then had it painted. Then just swapped my motor, glass, etc.

FYI, the satin black on those is actually regular standard black GM paint, it is the clear coat that makes it satin.

Thanks so much for the info, what part # did you go with? also what paint code did you use to get the satin finish right?

I believe this is it: 84788172

The paint was just generic GM black and I used a 4K satin lacquer clear, three coats put it just about an exact match. Or, have a shop do it. The clear is the tricky part.

I also used a plastic primer prior to black to insure adhesion. 2+ plus years looks factory!

Oh you just sprayed it yourself? Nice. You got the gm paint in a rattle can?

Yes. I just searched GM black, it is universal, in rattle can. It was one of those, found this part number, that was changed to this part number, which then became....lol

The satin clear I just got from an automotive paint shop I found online. That was the scary part, getting a match.

I originally had assumed the paint itself was satin, but the body shop servicing my chevy dealer explained it is regular gloss black. I would've been chasing ghosts if he didn't set me straight!!!! lol

I was under the impression that the satin black on the 1LE’s are just wraps. The hood is wrapped for sure, I believe the mirror is wrapped as well maybe?

Hood is the only item wrapped.
Splitter, mirrors, and spoiler are painted.

1ss 1LE and Zl1 mirrors are different due to the electronics. I have new ZL1 or 2SS mirrors available.

Housing's the same, if you swap the internals and electronics over from your car, you should be fine indeed.
