2017 Camaro SS 2SS A8 problem

A8 manual mode not shifting properly...need reliable transmission shop in San Antonio area or 'stealership' recommendation.

Would start with changing trans fluid and filter before taking to dealer if you can. On my 2016 every 4 oil changes is when Trans acts up and rear end gets noisy on the lsd so both get fluid changes.

So I took mine in not too long ago ... month or 2 ago .... the 8speed has an issue and torque slipping ... there is a Service Bulletin on it ..... the dealership will know about this ..... it is known in all the vehicles that have had that transmission. The above info came from a Chevy trans tech guy at the dealer .....

We both took the car out for a test drive and he hooked his computer up and was able to show/tell me when it was slipping. It felt like a shimming going on in the front to me. I could feel it in the steering wheel.

The fix was a "Update HP trans fluid" .... costly ... but it did fix my issue

I would call the dealership and ask them for ANY SB on that transmission
