Yes, this 2650 project started in May. Made 965 in early September. Should have just put the 2.75" on it, then dyno, then put the 112. Going back to a 103 is the next logical step. If it runs good again, pretty much has to be related to the 112 in some way.

Who is your tuner? Might I suggest taking it to CAP if not already there?

CAP did my ported 1.7L blower and related work last year. When I contacted Cody in May about my 2650 project, he said they were too busy. They were doing Lambos, Vipers, etc.

We're going to do a crushed pipe delete kit for $178 + labor just to remove it from the list.

Just hypothetically speaking here, if you made 965 with the crushed pipe section, EVEN if it was an issue, you wouldn't lose 100 hp because you enlarged your inlet, you'd just stop making gains due to the restriction on the back end. Go ahead and remove it though and we shall see. This whole thread has peaked my interest.

Update:
It made 965 in Sept. with a 103mm and 3" upper. We put a 112 and 2.75 on it on 10/12 and were shocked that it got to 850 at 5800 and rolled over badly. We installed Hookers' crushed pipe delete yesterday morning and put it on that same dyno and it made 906h/908t (hp was 100 higher than torque last time). But the tune or something else is way off. The shop did not log yesterday's pulls (!) I drove it home and parked it, so I can figure out a course of action

I'm serious. I've asked and they say, "No logs." Why/how would you spend several hours on the dyno adjusting the tune and yet create no logs? He only made one pull yesterday and said his laptop had crashed (?)
It's obvious I need a new shop/tuner. And, how does torque go up 38 and hp go down 60? Now that ain't right

I don't think so. I passed along some of the comments here including King's SOI advance comments, and, without any comment, he said he made those tune edits.

So you have a better explanation for not having any logs? I sure can't think of any. So what is his explanation for the lost power now that the crushed pipe was resolved and didn't fix the issue?

It made a road log today and it's got more boost, more MAP, no neg. advance, tons of fuel pressure, low MAT, etc. so ? "It made 50 more hp than it did before we did the crushed pipe delete" One of the issues now is that 965 dyno is a DynoJet and the 906 dyno is a Mustang, so we're all jacked up now. Worse yet, the Dynojet is a three-hour round-trip drive, so that's out for me. Need to find a local Dynojet.

What should I change the throttle body scalar to in HPT (from 103 to 112mm)?
