2021 ZL1 Instrument cluster shuts off randomly - Page 2

Happened as well to my 2021. Dealer did TSB software reflash/update and that fixed the problem.

I'm now convinced the problem is caused by the car starting to move before the instrument cluster finishes booting up after the car is started. The cluster starts receiving data (from the car moving) before it's ready to receive it. After the software update, I tried again to recreate the problem. Now, under the same cause conditions, the HUD only goes blank for 1 or 2 seconds and displays an "[ X ]" and then goes to normal, while the instrument cluster stays lit and operative.
