12 SS on Long Island, NY
Hey everyone,
Eric here from Long Island, NY with my new to me 2012 SS. My wife always loved the new gen Camaro's and dreamed of having one. I must admit that I never liked the car and always found myself as a life long fan of Firebirds and Trans Am's especially after falling in love with my Gen4 Firebird Formula years ago. It was time to buy a newer car and I always wanted to go back to an American car after owning many different cars from turbo Subarus to most recently my twin turbo BMW 335XI. The Camaro came up during a discussion and I figured i'd give it a shot since she was already on board. Found myself appreciating the styling and look of the car more and more. Test drove a couple and loved them from the power to the comfortable ride. Plan on debadging and plastidipping by this weekend but below is how she sits today. A big thank you to everyone on the forum who posted a lot of helpful information while shopping around. Hope to be a helpful contributor in no time. |

Eric, CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
