Drag Racing is over for the year

So I just did the swap back to the 98mm where we made 677, did a couple logs and all looks pretty good. Its just not as aggressive and easier to go Wot if I want to. We did pretty good with the 707/662 just aggravated that you just can't tune around the A10 but that's what GM wanted. I hate to spend 900 bucks this winter, however that's the only way to resolve the torque management issue and for sure holding our launch down. We can't go faster if we can't control the torque and we were right up against our fueling ability. Along with the TCM purchase I'll also do a low side pump. Not sure what Mike has in mind but the JMS and low side we have now are not going any further. We were surprised we were able to run the numbers we did. Moving on with something to do this winter. So no complaints here and glad I've got good relationships with a bunch in the industry, we made it happen. So, thanks to all and they know who they are.

If no one will tell King I might just mix down to E60 and see how much power it makes. I wouldn't want him to know I was thinking about his suggestion. I need some fuel so I might throw in 5 gallons of E30 since I have just under 3/4 tank of E65 in right now.

Man you did a lot in a short time with great results. It’s always about the experience and learning along the way. Winter should give you plenty of time for upgrades. When spring hits that improved setup with be ready for business.

Congrats again on your accomplishment!

Thanks, appreciate it. Can be a long winter here in Missouri. Just driving to enjoy the fall weather. Gonna be 73 tomorrow so it's time for some golf.

Yep, your getting to the nice fall weather and we are coming into the winter weather in probably a month. The tracks here usually close at the end of October, some of our southern Missouri tracks are open a little longer. Good luck on your next outing.

As was said above it is incredible how you pulled this off in such a short period of time. I am beyond impressed and can't to see your next moves. I've learned a lot! I'll holler.

Good deal, I think they actually prep on Wednesdays. I thought about coming back but spent enough last weekend. Have fun and get it done.

I did all the labor here at my shop and Mike and Mike Jr did all the shit at the LS Fest to get it going and I just drove. It all came together somehow and glad it did, sometimes it turns out to be a pain in the ass, but not in this case. Thanks for the kind words my friend. Hope your doing well there in Texas.
