Well, as of now, (7am October 3rd) we are up to 22 cars ordered provided nobody voted until actually placing an order.

Interesting facts:

All SS's so far, no LT's.
White, blue and gray are the most popular choices.
Only about 1/3 are opting for PDR.
Only one person got a TPW so far, although hopefully more of us get one this week.

I think the V6 1LE's will be super rare! I wouldn't be shocked if I see GT350R's more often than a V6 1LE

My guess is a lot of us will find out more on Thursday when the new weekly constraints get posted. Until they allocate some non-PDR builds I'm on the back burner for sure. This is going to be a painful wait!

11/7...

Seems guys who ordered PDR will be first, 10/17 TPW's, non PDR cars second...unless you were one of the very first orders of a non PDR, then you may have squeezed on that first build week.

Part of me wishes I was on the first build week, part of me is glad I'm not...

Not necessary. I had a pretty early non PDR order and just got a TPW of 11/7. So, it is possible you may end up on that build week, or just after. The main first build seems to be PDR cars. Could be for a few reasons, press cars, dealer PDR demos, etc...it's only a few weeks difference.

I didn't order PDR so I'm probably just one of the few non-PDR's being built the week of 10/17. At least you can drive yours year round SS 1LE. I have to put mine into storage by December.

I know once the non PDR cars were constrained, I wouldn't be in the first 10/17 TPW...but, I also thought my TPW would be way, way pushed back. So overall, 11/7 is fine with me.

Yes, if I kept my first order, which was the day before yours I would have maybe squeezed in too. But, it will be worth the extra few weeks wait to save that extra $1500+ that I got from my friends buddies dealer. I just wish I spoke to him a week earlier.

BUT, yes, I will be getting my car just as the nice, cooler season hits down here. Most of our shows and events and such run Nov-Apr down here, so it works out...

Hey, everyone.

1st post. I have been lurking for a while.

Trying to understand what everyone is saying in this thread about orders.

All of you who have orders don't have pricing yet, right?

When my dealer attempts to enter the 1LE option, the price is just listed as 'w/a'. They won't order the car until pricing has been released and we have negotiated one.

Could anyone post screenshots or scan of the purchase agreement with pricing? That would go a long way towards convincing my local dealer to take my deposit and order my car.

BTW - I was there when my salesman called Becky at Rodgers. She said they are taking deposits and ordering cars, but no pricing is attached. She fully expects some buyers to walk away when they are unable to agree.
