NPP exhaust with wired on/off switch to control fuse #51
I was able to successfully set up a switch connecting to fuse #51 by following the thread (http://goo.gl/CXC30n) created by 'Theta' from 'corvetteforum'. This thread only shows how I installed it on my 2016 Camaro. Feel free to get even more creative beyond my easy route!
Total amount spent: ~$20-25 Lumision ADD-A-CIRCUIT ATR MICRO2 FUSE - $7.99 (Used spare fuse to create a custom spade-terminated wire that goes into the lower right slot) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OZGA8O8 16 Gauge primary wire - $7.49 (Cut equally in half) http://goo.gl/MMkihm Dorman Conduct-Tite - $3.99 Rocker Switch (I didn't connect the copper terminal for the LED light since it's not required) http://goo.gl/MLDyNl Black Electrical Tape - ~$3 Video of switch in action: https://youtu.be/3NsOFOHUri8 |

Sorry, great idea, but the execution reminds me of the kids in high school who routed their amp wires trough their doors because they didn't want to find a better place for it.

Slit looms will be my next step. Due to time, this was my test set up and will refine it later. |

I did a wireless version. Removes in 10 seconds for warranty work. I love it so much better than the stock function

Maybe adding this to a car not originally equipped with NPP but has an NPP exhaust from another car on it would be beneficial. But ummmm if you car has NPP from the fsctory..... you know there is a factory switch in the center console and you can also change it in the radio, right?

Setting the NPP exhaust in the "track" setting, will not keep the flaps open at all times. I was contemplating buying an aftermarket axle back until I tried removing the fuse (fuse #51). I was skeptical at first. But saved me a ton of money. I can definitely see the point in a switched fuse. At some times the "stealth" mode would be nice. |

Look up the mild to wild controller, I wired up mine and can be installed/removed in a few minutes.
Also have it paired to my home link garage opener so I can turn the fuse on or off from inside. |

I was looking for the same clean installation about a month ago. Wasn't able to find anything that would look good. The mild to wild controller looks like it would be easily to install and looks good. If I found the mild to wild controller last month, I would have probably installed it.
My car is tuned with HP tuners. I found that you have control over NPP with HP tuners. I have my track mode setup completely open. I changed my tour mode to start up quietly without the rumble like stealth mode. I usually drive around in track mode and the car reverts to tour mode when you shut it off. I like this because it is quieter on start up. Better when I leave for work at 6am. I put in track mode after I get down the street. Sport stays in sport mode after shutting the car off. I left sport and ice mode with stock settings. |

If anyone executes this its a good idea to have the wire go down (twords the ground) before entering the fuse box. Waters natural progression will lead right to it with that run. You can also run the cable from the bottom of the fuse box up into it.
