SS Stock Wheel Tire Sizes
Needing to replace my tires ASAP and looking for size / brand recommendations. I've spent some time in the search box and there are not many stock wheel set up recommendations.
Car is a daily driver, no drag racing, no track days. The stock F1 tires never seemed to hook up. Got 16K miles and one rear tire is considerably more worn than the other. (Rear diff locking up around corners? Another thread I know) Looking for sizing options and brand recommendations. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems you can mount 285/30 on front and 305/30 on rear with no issues other than moving a wire harness in the rear wheel well? The very few recommendations I have seen are the Continental Extreme Contact or the Pilot 4S. Love to hear what others are running. Thank you |

Stock wheels get stock sizes. 245/40 up front and 275/35 in the rear. I went with the all-season General Gmax AS-05 because I daily drive and don't do launches or anything too hard.
Putting the 1le tire sizes would best be done with larger wheels. 305/30 will not require a harness relocate, 305/35 will. The ECS and P4S are great of the best, but summer only tires. If you have a winter set of tires though, definitely get a set of just summer tires too.

in front 285 and 305 rear you need other rims. OEM you have front=8,5x20 and rear=9,5 x20
You need at least in front 9,5 for the 285 and rear=10,5 for the 305
