Front Tire Valances
Hi,
The 2 tire valances are driving me crazy every time I back out of driveway, especially the passenger one. I'm considering having them removed on my 1st service date in Jan. What is the purpose of them? For elim. tracking drag? Looking at the profile today the lower line will look fine without them. I'd keep them if I ever sell it but the passenger one is damaged by bending, scraping. |

Those are air deflectors and are not necessary, they create an aero effect and not really necessary unless you are going to the track. However, they may help you notice a parking block before hitting your tires with it.

They're simple curb feelers
You can remove them very easily if you want, just a few bolts holding each in place, the entire process shouldn't take more than 10 mins.

I removed them off mine about a week ago, they look strange imo and if you ever want a splitter they're in the mounting area of that as well
