With 2 of the same cars but one being auto and the other being manual, I wonder exactly how much HP/TQ or how much of a weight advantage would be needed to overcome the trans disadvantage. For example, my HC with manual trans and 766 RWHP would probably still lose to a stock A8 Hellcat and all due to the trans. At least that is how I feel. I could be wrong. But it just feels like the A8s and A10s have an insurmountable advantage over their M6 counterparts. Even across other platforms it kinda feels like I would be at a disadvantage with the manual trans. I've certainly come across cars that have given me a really hard time up to a certain point. And I think if I had an A8 Challenger HC then I would have utterly destroyed those same cars.

My LT1 definitely has a basic interior, though after living with it a few more weeks i do like it. I really want to get my hands on some of the non plastic Knee bolsters.

I am a bit disappointed at how hard it is to change the shift knob. It just unscrewed. I like a nice big round one.

Wow you actually prefer a Zl1 to an ecoboost Mustang. And the Recaro seats are better than the ones in the Mustang . This will surely go down as breaking news. Please stay tuned as we will soon have a comparison between a c8 z06 and a 1978 Chevette. Lol. Wonder which car will come out on top.

Good write up
Have been seriously considering selling my SS and getting a 10R80 Mustang GT with good options

"Handling:
Hands down the Camaro. The stang was very soft, and floaty. the Camaro is far more confident. It corners flatter, handles bumps better and still has a compliant ride."

This is exactly why there's a Camaro in my Driveway!!
